Commercialkid - these jokers called me today too. At first it sounded quite authentic, the guy on the phone told ME all of my details, account number, address etc... then he asked me to confirm my bank card number. Ofcourse I said 'no'. After a few more minutes of me explaining to him how the real world works he told me my card number and security code - for a card that I lost over a year ago. When I told him that I had lost the card he asked for my new number - poor 'Freddy' wasn't a quick learner. He even got a 'supervisor' to tell me that they already knew everything about me but they just needed me to confirm all of my details (ie - tell them my number) so that they could send me some legal documents, I told him that they had my address and could send me anything they wished. Yet still they persisted, turned out in the end that my conversation bored them and they put the phone down. Don't give any details over the phone when you have not initiated the call and know who you are calling - simple.
I can see how they could screw people with this, definately one of the more entertaining scams I have encountered.

I was contacted by these the other day, At first I was a bit cofused as they told me I would get my charges back in 14 days?! (I have actually authourized a company to do this on my behalf due to illness) It took me ages to actually grasp what they were saying as they had very strong accents and talked rapidly. In the end I told them to sent the documentation. You know where its going when I recieve it don't you. (Mind you I will be checking it all VERY carefully so that I don't get any nasty surprises)
Just checked them out on the Justice department data base and they are suthorised by them....As I said when I get the paper work through I will check them out more throughly. On the phone they said that their fees were £49.99 and they also said they would be giving me a free nokia mobile.
Anyway I will get as much info about the ligitimacy of this company and report back (unless someone else knows?)The problem with common sense is its not very common:rotfl:

I've just had a call from these guys - strong accents, rapid speech etc etc - googled them while on phone, saw these posts (thank you all!) and told him I was not interested - at which point he asked me why I was wasting his time then?! Am sure this is a scam!0

Thanks for everyones info, I just knew it was too good to be true! Hellsbells45 who are you using to reclaim your money? I think I need a company to do it on my behalf as I've had the relevant reclaiming forms for two years and done nothing else, so I may as well pay someone!0
