I dont know. That you'd be surrounded by some of the worst crime and deprovation in London? Well its in Woolwich so thats hardly a secret.

That its in the middle on nowhere in one of the worst places to live in the developed world. Well its in Woolwich so thats hardly a secret.

Its not finished in the picture so the fact it isnt built isnt a secret either.

What is that darn secret? Guess you'll have to buy one to find out!

The secret is how much of your money you will get back if the builders go bust before completion.

You are being very unfair about Woolwich. It is NOT the worse place to live in the developed world - far from it, nor does it have the highest crime rates in London - the more expensive East End has that and people are still buying £1m flats over there.

Its being completely regenerated, cranes and rebuilding going on in the town centre, the Royal Arsenal conversions must be some of the most beautiful flats in the capital with spectacular views, thames cycle/walking path. New town hall being built, ditto new town square, the DLR opened early last month, the coffee shop chains have moved in. John Lewis is looking for shop space, the whole centre has a planned new shopping centre. The Thames bus stops at the RA, its an Olympic venue. 3 museums, New hospital, new theatre, new leisure centre, multi screen cinema being built.

Hardly a **** hole. There are a lot more other London areas that could take the prize for that. But then I guess people were talking about Hoxton like that a few years back and you cant afford a ex LA there now.

    :rotfl:

The John Lewis clinched it for me. I better get down there before its standing room only in the Perfect Fried Chicken and the Met take down the "Warning Muggings Are Occurring in This Area" signs.
