Break Clause Query

Hi,
Right i've given notice to leave my flat on 28th February which is fine but I have concerns regarding the wording of my break clasue and the fact I will be subject to pay 10 days rent which hardly seems fair. This is the break clause in my contract which I did sign.

[SIZE=+0]"10.6 The Tenant may determine this Lease on the 28th February 2009 (“the date of determination”) by giving the Landlord not less than 30 days written notice of such intent and on or before the date of determination pay to the Landlord in cleared funds a sum equal to ten days Rent payable hereunder."

I know I'm probably going to have to pay it but it seems a very unusual wording. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be very grateful or will I just need to pay
Thanks in advance.
