But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free;)
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D

Good morning to all you lovely people who give me great inspiration to follow good habits although I am debt free.
Your ideas and enthusiasm are an inspiration and really keep me motivated.
Today
I have travelled by bus (free) It is 45 miles, takes two buses but I am saving on petrol, bus fares and car wear and tear. Triple bonus!!!
Home made sandwiches for lunch so a nice wee saving there.
Home made soup for tonight. Made it at the weekend, froze some of it, so it will last all week. Good thick Vegetable soup crammed with goodies.
No spend day.
No direct debits or standing orders due to come off. I have already checked bank balance. I am in credit and due to be paid this weekend.
Fixed rate ISA interest (6%) due to be added to account today.
I will check on line savings.
Going to check in on line for next weekend's break courtesy of cheap Ryanair flights.
Sorry to be so upbeat but it really is good to be alive this morning and the only advice I can give is to be positive and look for the bonus in everything you do.0 -
