I actually wouldnt change our situation, except maybe for it to be repaid quicker so we can have a life. After all, if we had never got in debt, I'd never have met you lot, would I :D

Len, Mate, Chin up chuck xx When that new baby of yours is born you wont be giving anything a second thought apart from how happy you are to be a Dad again.

Spud, I know exactly where you are coming from, I have managed to get out of debt recently (Jan 2008) but only after a long hard slog of doing without and hiding it all from my family and friends.

Such a strain but I was too ashamed to admit that despite us both having good jobs we couldnt affort an Indian takeaway on a Friday after work unlike our other friends:o

We wasted £1000's on nowt. But those days are gone. And here is where we can all make the change, right now, with friends to support us.

I always refer to DFW chat thread as a "communtiy of kindness" no one judges or rejects. Just a bunch of good souls really.

    I ramble............bit its how I feel.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Thanks Lou.

Me and DH are OK, we can get by. It's the kids that worry me.

They dont have the things their mates have. Neither of them have ever had a birthday party. DS always asks how much something is, before he asks for it for birthday/Christmas. DD isnt too bad, she get LOADS of clothes from a friend who has 3 older girls, but DS doesnt have much. DH and I make do with the clothes from years ago, but DS wont stop blimmin growing

He's going on holiday from school soon, it's almost killed us to pay for it, but he's going. It's an activity holiday, so luckily he doesnt need any decent clothes, but he'll still need stuff.

I know how Lenny feels. Most days I can just deal with it, but some days it all gets a bit too much :o
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches
