I am desperate to know...Bubbles...are you a Real Life surgeon?

Clearly not, as by their posts they have never gone through house officer years if they think the specialities quoted are quiet and only consist of emergency work!

Is suspect they are a scrub nurse or an ODP, although I imagine the former if they stand up for hours on end.

I don't think that a high pay is necessarily greedy but I do think that the wrong professions get paid too much and there is a gross disparity in earnings. For example, I believe that a nurse should earn far more than a banker or an estate agent and I believe footballers are paid far too much.

    This pole is ridiculous.

Greed is about taking more than your fair share.

The heads of Newham and Wandsworth councils earn more than £240,000 each year. Thats greedy (very).

Dyson probably earns millions a year. Thats a fair reward for risk and enterprise.

But given the fact he's very, very wealthy, do you not think it was greedy to move his factory out of the UK so that he could save money?

800 people lost their jobs because of this, while Dyson is worth over £1 billion.

Its not a question of how much you get - its how you've got it and what you do with it. If you get it in a moral way and then sit down to think whether what you earn constitutes a high income - and, if it does, you give the surplus away to good causes then it doesnt matter HOW high your income is - you wont be a greedy person.

    I disagree.

How can it be right for Jeremy Paxman to earn £1m pa (plus book deals etc), when a Nurse earns just £25k?

Him entrapping £1m, means there is less to go round for others.

I think the max should be £150k pa.
