Cheaper Train Booking Lines?

Don't suppose anyone knows of a 'call from abroad' number for Virgin Trains and National Express Trains so that I don't have to use their 0845/0870 numbers?!

Why not book the tickets online?

https://www.nationalexpresseastcoast.co.uk allow you to book from abroad and you can book virtually any UK train ticket through them not just NXEC tickets

Thanks, everyone. Will give those numbers a try. Would probably save a lot of hassle by just booking online but the searches I'm doing seem to throw up different results so I'd rather speak to someone to make sure I'm getting the best deal!

No, you speak the truth. OP, not buying online is an invitation to be ripped off and be annoyed by horrible muzak. We'll help you with the best deal if you're getting really confused, but online is definitely best.
