+up to 25% online discount...
Mm, anybody tried to get a quote from Direct Line content insurance?
I tried and there is no mention of the 50% off (nor of the 25% off) when you go up to the payment page.
Is it complete fiction or does one need to give them a ring to get a discount code?
Cheers,
C

To check why don't you try asking for a quote just for contents insurance to find out what the premium is and then ask for a quote for buildings and contents.
Bear in mind the 50% off will probably be subject to you taking contents cover and you will not get the 50% off the extras such as accidental damage and personal possession cover.
Oh and you prob won't get the 50% off the contents when its due for renewal so be prepared for a big increase in your renewal premium...0 -
REMEMBER Direct Line insurance are part of the morally corrupt bank the Royal Bank of Scotland. After what they have done, would you trust them ?0

mmm £59 Contents only for my apartment. Not bad, no quidco though so i think they will probably be beaten overall on price. Just wish the AIG Quidco deal was back again fro this year.I beep for Robins - Beep Beep
& Choo Choo for trains!!0 -
The 50% off Contents Discounts are normally if you are taking out Building Cover at the same time.
If you want to check, get a quote for contents only, then a quote for buildings only and then a quote for buildings and contents which should answer your question (Although bear in mind most companies have an extra in built discount if you take building and contents out as well so it might through your figures out).
Like the previous poster remarked they are part of RBS and so are Churchill...0
