iam looking for a new microwave and have seen a one on sale later this week at aldi,but was wondering what exactly does the convection part of the oven do,its 2000w the price is £78.00 is it a good buy.

The convection oven part is just a small version of your normal electric oven on a cooker. So you can put anything in that you would put in your normal oven as long as it fits, i.e. small roast, potatoes, cake, etc.
I recently bought a combi microwave oven from Makro, it was around £99 + VAT and it was a Panasonic.
The price of the Aldi one is very reasonable but I don't know anything about the make. You could always do a google search and see what else is on offer and compare.0
