Confused

I have often wondered if i have too many policies against my mortgage???

We and the wife both have critical illness policies, we both have income protection in place and both have decreasing terms in place.
We also have life insurance as well as life insurance on both our pensions which pays out 3 x salary if either should die?? We also have mortgage payment protection insurance??

Money is tight and we are trying to reduce outgoings, do i really need all these policies??? I was thinking of visiting a financial advisor, but any advice on here would be very welcome????

Thank you confused!!!!
