how do i claim back road tax?

my car tax ran out a week ago so i brought 6 months tax i get high rate mobility and my tax exemtion cirtificate didnt arive intime to tax it but its just arrived today. how do i claim back the 6 months tax i have just brought? and any idea how long it takes?

Because you are a week in to this month you'll only be able to claim back 5 months. I believe there instructions on claiming a refund on the back of the tax disc.
Also have a look on the direct.gov website......0 -
I got a form from the post office to do ours
