If you want to go for a topper rather than an actual mattress there are a few things to take into account:

1. Make sure it is British made. There are many poor quality memory foam products coming from China.
2. 2" is the ideal depth. If it is too deep then it can make you too warm because you will sink into it. 2" is enough for it to mould to your body, which is all the memory foam is there for.
3. Make sure the density is between 60 and 70kg per m3

I wouldn't buy any Silentnight products, even if they were 50% off.

If their quality is anything like their mattresses, don't bother.

The two we have were approx £30 each.

One was a present from ebay & is 5cm thick. The other was frm Bidup web clearance & is 3cm.

One is a double, the other a king size on a double bed.

The density is a bit too high, and it's a bit too deep, so it's possible that you might have trouble changing position, and it could be quite warm. However if that suites you then the price looks good.

Try and find out where it is manufactured.
