Writers, authors and composers pay no tax in Ireland.

Strange...........Sounded like it came from the heart to me.I think the guy is genuinely gutted about whats happening to his country, having dreams and aspirations for your countries future and remembering the past is to be commended and not ridiculed. Its a shame we aren't a bit more passionate about OUR country.
Cynical view Kenny:rolleyes:0 -
People are aware of the facts but they don't like to protect the nature I don't know why?No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30

A few choice quotes
After a decade of a credit-fuelled property bubble, the economy is not so much crumbling as vaporising: were we the size of Britain, January’s rise in unemployment would have been over half a million
For increasing numbers of ordinary people, the Irish economic miracle has turned out to be as worthwhile as a share in Bernard L Madoff Investments
In circumstances where the Government could not even pay public sector salaries, the bank guarantee would immediately become worthless and we would see an uncontrollable run on all the Irish banks
Morgan Kelly is professor of economics at University College Dublin

We used to stay in hotels but eventually realised that hiring a cottage was much cheaper and so much better in other ways too, we got one for £700 for the week (slept 6 so easily good for the 4 of us)0 -

Fantastic 'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0
