hi about the bank charges, i think im slightly different to some other people, ive an account with halifax for 20+ years and ive never had an overdraft and been able to have one!! my charges come about with direct debts the funds where not avaible so the bank charged me for someone else not being able to get my money and it was the bank that made me overdrawn and then charged me again on top of that!!. i was never any good at keeping my money ready for d/ds but why should the banks make money from me struggling on. thankfully that was a few years ago now and im a lot better now and i pay on time!!! the total charges is £1,500 and i sent the bbc letter to them in 2007 and ive had one letter off halifax since and that was just saying its all been frozen...if some one can tell me anything and if i can do more please could you... mind at this time in the state england is in can anyone see us getting our money back???????
