I bought a Halogen Oven from JML TV - It worked okay for 6 weeks or so, then stopped working properly.
I phoned JML and said what the problem was and can we get a refund? They said No as it was past the 30 days but would give us a replacement. So we said okay. We had to pay the charges of £20.70 for delivery back to them which they said they would refund. We are still awaiting teh refund and have only just received the new Halogen Oven.
In the instructions under the guarantee it says "The product is unconditionally guaranteed for one year against all defects of workmanship and materials"
So, my question is this - Are we allowed to have a refund or are they in the right?
Thanks

AFAIK after 28 days you are entitled to a repair or a replacement.
A refund could be given but its at the discretion of the company.
Badger them for your refund of postage. This was naughty of them, they should just have arranged a courier to pick it upmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

I have been thinking about 1 of these too. My kids are grown up and it seems a waste to put the oven on for meals for 2.
They are also available from https://www.easylifegroup.com for £39.99 (£10 cashback for buying online) with tongs, lid stand & 2 cooking racks. Includes recipe book but it doesn't say how many recipes. Uses halogen & infra red with fan assistance.0 -
When did you buy yours?
