Thanks Thrift lady, think i will give the wholemeal ones a go. When you say substitute half wholemeal flour, do you mean use hald plain and half wholemeal?

Yes,that's right honey I use 1 cup of white plain flour(4 1/2 oz) and 1 cup of wholemeal plain flour.You can see how much easier it is to measure with US cups,esp with US recipes like muffins.Of course wholemeal flour is more expensive..grrr.0

i have a spare cooking apple that needs to be used up...
could i chop it up into small chunks and add to mixture...
or would you ping them in the microwave first so its like an apple sauce.. before adding to mixtureWork to live= not live to work0 -
