Orange usually occurs because the bleach in most home-dyes isn't strong enough to 'lift' hair more than a couple of shades. If you are going to try and re-dye I would was my hair in washing up liquid to get out all colour deposits remaining. Make sure youve got some good deep conditioner though it will really dry out your hair.
Some also reccomend washing it in anti dandruff shampoo and leaving it on the hair for 20 mins before washing out.
Sorry I can't help you more but would need to have a look.

Hi there Stacy89,
I know this isn't what you want to hear but please got to the hairdressers and get it sorted out properely.
My daughter who is 19 did exactly the same thing last year. We thought about buying the same dye to get it to be more of an even colour and to make it blonde all over. It was blonde at the roots but had turned ginger half way down.
We decided that the best thing was to get a hair dressers advice. So i rang a friend of mine she said that that she musn't put another blonde dye on it as they wouldn't be able to do anything with it.
She went to the hairdressers the next day and they dyed the underneath back to her natural coulour and pulled part of the blonde bits through so that she had highlights. She was lucky that it was sorted out. It did look great in the end.
Please don't do anything drastic.
Good luck

did u get it sorted yet if not Use Born Blonde Toner by Clairol. it just tones the coloutr of the orange down lol. It will give your hair a natural blonde color. Don't worry about how it looks while it's being applied. It will look very dark. Leave it a full 30 mins. It won't harm your hair and will give you a natural look. its under £4 Good luck

Yes, I've done this, when my hair went a greenish colour, 12 weeks before my wedding  . It can't be 2-in-1 though. Put it on dry hair, leave it for around 20-30 minutes then rinse off. Then you can put another dye on top, preferably after a few days. Some also reccomend washing it in anti dandruff shampoo and leaving it on the hair for 20 mins before washing out.Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £80,748.41 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £205 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £215.47 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £1,406.55 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0 -
If you can't afford a professional hairdresser, then try your local hairdressing college. For a more unusual situation the teacher will usually advise and supervise the student throughout. You normally only get second year students for colouring, but be clear about the problem when you book.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

I used to be bottle blonde, and was always a tad on the orangey side. Then I found a can of spray in mousse stuff- I think by sunsilk, that was tailor made to counteract post bleach orange. It was good stuff, and only £3 ish a bottle.Only dead fish go with the flow...0

If u manage to tone it down, then use a sachet of Ash blonde, it comes out purply/blue and conteracts the tinge. Wont work on full on orange, but helps orangy/blonde!
