If I was you I would promptly dye it brown. Without going to the hairdressers I can imagine another blond dye will make it worse!0

Am I right in thinking your hair was quite dark before you dyed it blonde?

I'm sure someone recommended tomato ketchup once for a blonde dye gone wrong question, but not sure that would be ideal for the orange bits, might make them even more orange! I think that advice might be for when a bleach job has gone green, hmm, sound possible.
Sorry that's not very helpful. Sure someone will come up with a more helpful answer soon.0 -
Have you coloured your hair before? Sometimes new dye can react with old dye already on the hair shaft.
Or was your hair 'virgin' ie never been dyed.
What hair dye did you use ? Permenant I presume..

it was a permenant dye and yes it was previously coloured
was wondering would it be a bad idea 2 get the same dye and put more on, and see if that works???0 -
I hope you get it sorted.

I have been dying my hair for years and have turned orange many time till I got the right hair dye
1st of all i always used this one..
Herbal Essences Extra Light Brilliant Blonde shade XL2, this gives a very natural coulur and takes it extra shade lighter so you dont end up with the orange tones.
I would go over it with this,
but as Iam getting older finding it harder to carry off the platium blond so am now using sun in
if you have medium to light brown hair naturally this stuff is fantastic gives a much more natural blond, and you can always add more to make it blonder.
right thats it ive given away all my secrets, as a life long blond its taken me years of trying to find the best products, hth...xxxPeople who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones...

Purple couteracts yellow/orange. Tomato ketchup counteracts green tinges on blonde. Try a silver mousse or wash in wash out colour. You will notice that if they are called ash blonde they will be purple.0
