Hi, there does anyone know where the cheapest public liability insurance is. quick run down. a group i belong to meet at a st. johns ambulance hall but have found out that their insurance only covers st johns members. there is no dangerous activities involved

so if anyone can help that would be grand.

its a meditation group so no knife throwing or anything to high risk. friend got a quote for £500 which seems a bit steep.

I have public liability insurance with More Than - I am covered for £2 million (same cost for £1 mill) and I pay £10.58 a month interest free. So far its the cheapest In fact the amount covered could be more, I haven't got my paperwork to hand at present.

I am a wedding planner and need to cover myself and anybody else.

As a wedding planner do you not use sub contractors eg temporary staff etc

Try Towergate MIA as thy have schemes for massage therapy such as indian head etc etc. They will probably cover it under their scheme for circa £160 which includes a number of other benefits you might find useful.

Alternatively if there is a trade organisation try them as they often have schemes or failing that try a local broker.

Bear in mind a lot of government and local government buildings require a minimum of £5m public liability so it would be worth checking how much cover the building owner requirers.
