Insurance for Feelancers in Film and TV

I work freelance in the film and TV industry, it recently struck me that I had no insurance in the event of an injury that would prevent me from working.
Can anyone recommend a company or policy to cover for such things? Or has any one got any experiences with this kind insurance, is it worth it?
I would be grateful

Hi -try Aon Reuben based at Pinewood on 01753 785859.Used with satisfacrion by a family member who is is into special effects side of business.
They are part of worlds largest insurance brokers.Do not expect a package policy at £100.00 or so as this is a high risk field.

I agree with Maclean2, it is also worth trying Equity as they have some schemes for members and I know some of the specialist fields have schemes as well for instance the Stunt Register have a scheme for stunt men0

I work entirely freelance, that is the nature of film and TV, no one in my area (Art Department) has permanent jobs.0
