Hi a quick question
Is it normal for the plans to be printed up before we have agreed on them, then shown to us for any modifications to be done?
Thanks niall

Simple answer - yes. The plans will have a series of amendments so the first plan (which you check) has only a number and then the first amendment is called the same number with the suffix A, and so on through B, C, etc. The final version is what the builder prices against.
Each amendment is noted in a small box above the plan title, so amendment A might say something like "external wall adjusted to meet client's requirements" and amendment B might say "window removed at request of planning authority".0 -
