Somerfield Mag £10 worth of coupons

Sorry if this has already been posted but couldnt see elsewhere. Grab a free copy (or two) of the latest Somerfield mag instore. Has £10 worth of coupons inside, several worth £1 each.

Havent tried any yet, but im guessing they scan in all supermarkets as all the others have before, and best of all, the mag costs you abosultely nothing.

Coupons expire in March.

Here you go! I know its sad when no one says thank you but i think most people know about these vouchers, there in every somerfeld mag very month so not many people have anything to say thank you for!

I was in Somerfield yesterday and the woman in front of me used loads of the Somerfield magazine coupons off her shop. I didn't have the front to ask the cashier afterwards if they do accept them even if you don't buy the product. Does anyone know if they do? I couldn't tell from the customer's trolley whether she did or not!

PS - I know that Tesco do not accept Somerfield coupons as a rule.

Was just about to post this one........ but have said 'thanks' instead :);)
Sometimes my local tescos accepts somerfields, depends whos on the till! (I usually go armed with my vouchers to the young lads, either they dont care and cant be bothered to ask someone about vouchers, or there too embarrassed? lol

Would be interesting to know if somerfields do accept them without buying the product, we all know about waitrose and tescos, but havent heard anything about somerfields policy............ must find out!

I shop in Somerfield regularly and our store are very strict on coupons, you have to buy the product and I have tried to give coupons in the past and they have checked the till receipt to see if you have bought the product.
  • I have used manufactureres coupons in Tesco before when not buying the product but have never tried using coupons with another stores logo on. Can anyone confirm if they have used the Somerfied coupons in Tesco and it has been successful? I am guessing they will not take coupons for specific Somerfied brand products but for other brand name products then perhaps they will. Do they need to be straight from the magazine or should i cut the Somerfield logo off? Thanks in advance for the response.

I have used both Sainsburys and Sommerfield coupons in Tesco, and at times these have even been out of date! They still took them, but it does often depend on the whim of the SA. Big beef though, we have no Sommerfield round here so I can't stock up on the magazines to get the vouchers. Ask Sis to post them to me, but she usually forgets!!
