Comet, Currys & Powerhouse

I am so pleased about this. I have been wanting a combination microwave for ages and there was a specific model I liked. Panasonic NNA554W. Having been reading the MSE website often, and reading Martins book, I printed off the online price of this microwave for both Currys and Comet. Both online prices were £128.88 however, Currys store price was £159.99 and Comets were £149.99. So firstly I went to Currys and asked for it at the online price, they would not budge, so then I made my way to Comet and they would not budge either, so in a bit of a huff I thought I would have a look at Powerhouse, in Powerhouse they had it on special offer at £129.99. So I decided to go back to Comet because I like Comet, and I told the sales assistant there, so off he went to Powerhouse and he came back and with Comets price promise I got it matched plus 10% of the difference knocked off so I ended up paying £127.99 which was 90 pence lower than the online price hehehe.

I was soooooooooooo pleased!!!

I would have waited till he came back and said no thanks due to them not matching online prices and paid the 90p more at powerhouse.
