Quite interesting
AVG is at the bottom.
I decided to give AntiVir a try
Unfortunately it won't shut up about Google Talk being a virus

Thing is though Ive seen loads and loads of reviews and frnakly I aint seen an honest one yet, because whoever is the best at the mo will be slated so that it does'nt
command (hug) top spot for all eternity...
I would say for freebies AVG and Avast are pretty head to head and the
reason I would say this is because I have used both quite a lot but AVG
just did it for me because of usablilty.0

I think I'll go back to AVG.
I've never thought it was the best Anti Virus but I do think it takes less system resources than many in the day to day running.
Then just use the online scanners every
now and then to double check 0 0

Until I see a review done by someone who is totally impartial then I'll stick to personal opinion on here and other forums.
I'd say that BitDefender's Chief Exec found the nicest restaurant to take 'Tony Bradley' to, coincidently, just before he wrote those reviews......
I must stop being so cynical..... I must stop being so cynical...... I must..... :rolleyes:0

Im with Steve on this topic.
If they are a magazine with paying advertisers they are going to be skewed results. They cant possibly say AVG free is as good as an advertisers product.0

AVG has never been great though. It's a good product, and more importantly is free.
I've always rated BitDefender, although was amazed to see McAfee at number 2. I personally use Nod32.
Basically, if you want the best, at the moment you have to pay. If you want a free product, AVG is good, but not the best."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0
