Where can I save my kids money ?

I have two kids aged 8 and 5 they currently have a first save account with the Alliance & Lec.
They each have around £1100.00 and do not require any withdrawals.
Can anyone advise if I should move to some other account or any other ideas where to invest.
Thanks

You could try this 1-year account, feeding in 1/12th each month from the other one. Then you could look around again for next year!
