There are some questions that are asked a lot here, so I made an attempt of faq list please add to the list.
What is a credit reference agency?
Credit reference agencies are organisations that collect and store financial and publicly available information about almost every adult in the UK.
Who are the credit reference agencies
These are the three credit reference agencies in the UK, each will let you request your credit file online or by post, usually for a fee.
Callcredit Ltd
Experian
Equifax
Is my address blacklisted? I have recently bought a property and the old occupiers have a lot of debt collection notices and I have no forwarding address , where can I look to see if my address is on the black list??
There is no such thing as a credit blacklist. It is the individual who has the credit report and not the address.
Debt free Legal Loophole In 1974 Consumer Credit Act, can my debt be wiped out?
There are a lot of claims management companies charging up front fees to do it for you. Whatever the case, where you have to pay up-front fees, never do, it's most likely to be a scam!

People don't bother using the search function on the boards - do you really think they'll bother to read a FAQ?Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
Q. Do I have to pay my bill after I have spent my line of credit?
A. Yes you do.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0
