DLA Application - contacting my consultant
Comments

It is very important that any Dr who is going to be approached about DLA is warned (by you, the patient!) in advance. The charity I work for has had several cases of DLA being refused recently. The reason? When the form asked the Dr what problems the claimant was having, s/he put 'Not known'. TheDr meant that they did not KNOW about problems, but the beloved DLA people conveniently interpreted this as meaning that there were no problems!!!
So go see your consultant if you can, and agree with him or her what your problems are! :beer:Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0
