What is wrong with me today??

I've been frantically trying to dig out information for a form for council tax rebate and all I can find is debt letters. Have just about found everything I need but I'm just a blubbering wreck! If this is what I'm like filling out this tiny form what on earth am I gonna be like doing my BR forms?!

Not normally a weepy person really but just cant seem to stop crying today! If just one person is 'off' with me in the council office I'm gonna be pathetic. People who see me running the business on a day to day basis just havent got a clue how I really am feeling. OOOOO! Right deep breath, pack this in and off to the council! Sorry for the rant, Ive been talking to my bloody self for the last hour, anybody looking through my window will think I'm a lunatic! lol.:o
;) Heres to a brand new start!!;)

At least when you talk to yourself, you get a sensible answer!

Good luck at the council! Deep breath. If your council is anything like mine then there is a possibility that they are making huge cut-backs and the person you speak to may be worried about their own job. Not making excuses for them but just in case their behaviour is a bit erratic!

Well what a complete waste of time all that was today! Got all the info together and went to council office, handed over the form all present and correct (or so I thought) guess what?.. because hubby and I are both self employed I just came out with more forms!!! They want all the ins and outs of both businesses for the last financial year! I feel everywhere we turn at the minute its just another brick wall!

Was trying to get this claim in to help with the pending council tax court summons 7 days prior to my BR date. Now I'm wondering wether to just wait and apply for council tax rebate after BR as mayber will be less complicated?? We wont have any income but dont know wether they will STILL want all the self employment details after BR or if it's irrelevant then? Fed up already! Hope tomorrow is a better day!

Its the council. They will still want all the info! Are your balance sheets not enough for them then??

well I do have accounts that give basic ins and outs but they have handed me a set form where they want electricity costs, phone costs etc, all leasehire agreements and copies of origonal agreements! Just didnt expect them to want so much detail, my tax return shows what I have actually had from the business and I thought that would be all that was relevant! Silly me eh! x

There's nothing wrong with having a good cry. Being in debt is worrying, and you are allowed to feel sad and upset about it from time to time. The main thing is that you are obviously doing your best to deal with it, which is the right thing to do.

Good luck with all the forms, maybe reward yourself with a chocolate bar (or whatever can help to cheer you up cheaply).

Cheap bottle of wine every time I'm afraid!:o Although I know it doesnt make the mess go away! I dont get many days like today, think it just all accumulates sometimes and gets a bit overwelming! Feel a lot better tonight than I did earlier. Hubby having a tough time to as he's been doing a temp job for last 6 months and theyve just given the permanent post to someone else! While still wanting him to temp for the next 5 months! He'l have to do it or we'l have zero income but bit of a kick in the teeth for him! Think thats the problem when your both down its hard to pick each other up isnt it!

    tomorrows another day!

    Hiya,

Just wanted to send you HUGS today....sometimes nothing quite gets to us like the debt does!!!

Just sit down, tell yourself that you will have `bad days` & start again tomorrow. Fighting against the stress never works & will just make you feel worse.

Get that bottle of wine, TV on & let it go for today.

The job thing is disappointing but at least its still income & will give your OH time to look out for other jobs.

    Hope you`re ok,

    Angexx

Trouble with being a bloke sometimes - crying is not something that comes naturally. I think it's the price you pay for being all big and strong for those around you.

I was just washing up and thinking - bloody hell I feel awful, really low. A good cry and a dribble in to the sink was what was needed, but I'm afraid it was a long way off.

I am cheeky to ask, but if you still can't stop crying, can you spare a good nose blow for me..?

Take care Simpsona. You know we are thinking of you.

    Jim
