I had my dress made and it's very similar to Candy Anthony. Lindaatno9 made it for me. I'd definately think about approaching a dressmaker.

Your dress was gorgeous Nat - Linda was telling me all about it today as I had to ask her advice on something:D

Yes it was! She made such a fantastic job of it, no-one could believe that I'd had it made and they were even more surprised when I told them that my dress was cheaper than the one my mum had on!!! :rotfl:

I have fallen in love with Candy Anthony dresses, however, at £1000 they are quite over my budget of £500! Does anyone know where I can find similar 50's style dresses.. slightly shorter in length and full skirted for a more reasonable price? Or would I be able to get this dress made within my budget? I have looked on ebay, and I have found couple of dresses.. I'm just a little wary about buying my dress from there!

Any help would be great :)
