Great news for you SM, enjoy your time!

Pips mum, well done on the £5 win.

Am i the only one getting fed up with all this weather?!! Its making driving a nightmare and i had to reschedule my mystery shop for today because of the heavy rain which was making the motorways a crazy place to be. Am not scared of the rain(like the snow) but people seem to drive quite crazy in it and you can't see! Hoping it is better for my massage client tomorrow!

Just received some good news though, had an email asking me to take a foreign student from this weekend, they are self catering so i won't have to cook any meals which is great as it means i get money for someone staying with me but can still do a lot of the things i prefer to do.

Having a great DFW day so far.
    • Mobile phone bill arrived and was only £19 not bad considering it used to always be around £50:eek:
    • Added my Cokezone points and was very surprised to find I had 36 points. Rubbish rewards at the moment so will wait until something better comes along maybe that can be used as a present for someone?

    Afternoon all!
Came home early from work due to a headache and general knackeredness - feel a bit better now though.

    Today I have/will....
    • Have lunch at home
    • Make leek and potato soup and dumplings for tea using a veg in fridge
    • Put washing away
    • Have a NSD -done for once!:j
    • Make packed lunch for work tomorrow
    • Checked banks - will have squirreled away an extra £250 this month to go as an overpayment on a loan:T
    • checked mobile bill - no additional charges on top of price plan - very good for me
    • Stay in tonight, have a bath and watch the soaps and 24
    • Walk the dog for free exercise
    • Rejig the mealplan for the week and try to work out what I can buy on the weekend to go with what we already have in to minimise the shopping bill
That's all I can think of for today - have a good one!
  • Hey great news you lot!

Lots of productive stuff - I have cancelled my PPI with cc and phoned the scary cc folks:eek: - balance isnt down much but the interest is frozen - they suggested I can pay it off for a figure about 1000 less than the balance, but can't do that.

Well done Andan on lodger person - my non being fed by me one is much easier :D (although the money isn't as good.......)
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

Pity you didn't have an empty credit card to pay the balance off with fay - would have been a great way to lose £1000 of debt by shuffling.

Well done on getting started with sorting things:D all positive stuff.

  • Ta SM - I know looking frantically to see if i can sort something - but if I can't at the moment - maybe I can later?

    - already taken an interest free loan from a pal when my egg card offered about 1k off the balance.

BUT as the interest is frozen on this one right now am I better to pay off my higher interest loan quicker then concentrate on the 0% stuff??

Sorry so many questions - this stuff hurts my head more than willow.
