Steering Problem

Hi there,
My Ford KA is pulling to the curb, it isnt too bad but its enough to cause eventual wear on the tyres. Its been like it for a couple of weeks now, I had the tracking done last week and that had no effect and the guy there said it could be down to the arms, I then had an MOT on saturday in which a fractured coil spring on the front drivers side was found and replaced and the MOT Mechanic found no play in the wheels so I thought this would solve the problem.


Unfortunetely the car is still pulling to the curb so I think there maybe something else wrong like the arms but I don't know what to try next, whether now the coil spring has been replaced the tracking will need re-doing?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Did you get both springs done? Ford springs are notorious for this (ends not tapered).

Then start from scratch again with tracking, checking wear on tyres and any suspension bushes and drop links etc. Anything bent? Shock absorbers?

This could be a nightmare to sort and will be a process of elimination.

The fact that you have got it through an MOT just makes it more annoying as you would hope that would have picked up the problem.

Take it into a flat car park and drive it in a straight line without your hands on the wheel. Does it still pull to one side? If not it may just be following the road camber.
