    Me too!

It has been very disappointing - though in London probably enough to declare a state of emergency...

as somoeone who has been driving a 40 tonne truck in Central London and environs for the last week ( at night ) I have come to the conclusion that if all the BMWs were removed from the system there would be a lot less hold ups due to minor accidents.
Is it the car, is it the driver? Is it the combination of the 'incapable' and the 'incapable'?

I am sick of the snow too, we had more yesterday afternoon/evening but not enough to cause choas.....we are forecast much heavier falls for tonight.

OH hates being penned in and as I am keen that neither of us slip and break something.......he has to stay in until I feel its safe to venture out again, last week I had to resort to taking him out in the car and letting him walk round tesco car park, they had cleared the snow off it and gritted it........

Thankfully we are at an age where we do not have to go to work anymore, I have a good store cupboard so won't starve.................

It's the combination of the "more difficult" with the "more inept".

Having said that, I've seen people drive their BMWs in the snow and they were fine - but having an IQ bigger than their shoe-size probably helped...

Go walking on grass, or down to the sea - both are pretty safe in snow.

Reminds me. I saw a person in a BMW 4x4 block a whole road for 5 mins a few days ago.

All because they didn't want to put two wheels up on onto the snowy pavement so that people could pass. Not sure about IQ, but zero common sense.

Morning, feeling generally a bit crappy today. partly due to being a bit ill and partly due to my ex-bf having a new girlfriend.

Thought I was doing okay with the whole moving on and just being friends thing, but it hit me like a train, even though I knew it would happen sooner rather than later. He's a single man, he can see who he wants, and I can't really complain as I've been flirting with someone else too, but still, it feels crap.

For once, he hasn't been completely insensitive about it, and I will be fine with it once I get used to the idea.....I think.

    Hugs Snaggs.

Do you know sure he has a new GF, or could he be saying it to hurt/get a reaction?

Either way, he didnt treat you as you deserve to be treated ;)

  • I'm in North-West England, the Merseyside/Lancashire area, and where I live, we've had a sprinkling of snow that could be more likened to a fall of dandruff, very little ice, and at the moment, the sun is shining and melting the overnight frost off the car.

Over the last week or so, no snow worthy of the name to speak of, really.

    Hi Spud.

Csarina, take care out there....no unnecessary journeys.

ZTD and Fermi....I am not alone in my attitude towards BMWs....especially X5s! They happily crash them into kerbs ( friends wife has one and she uses the 'football' method of parking...in off the post ) but wont drive on anything that isnt flat or dry?

Snaggles, its hard to get someone out of your head isnt it.....even when you make your OWN decision to 'not care anymore'.
