  • How odd of your job jack!

    If you don't put that job on your cv, a potential employer is likely to question the gap in your cv and then it might look worse than it is when you try to explain it.

    However, if it was really short-term employment or you happen to have had another job at the same time so that there is no gap then you should be able to get away with it.

    I've worked in a civil service sector, i have to keep that kinda quiet, signed the official secrets act etc.

    Can you not say that although you have experience in this this and this, you have been asked not to disclose with who.
    Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?
