Help Needed Illness and retirement

Hi advice needed I am 61 years of age and I manage a snooker club, 4 years ago I had to have a pacemaker fitted and after it was fitted I continued to work up until two weeks ago. I unfortunately collapsed in work and was rushed to hospital and the problem was my heart, but unrelated to the pacemaker, so after tests the doctors decided they need to stop my heart then restart it using the paddles, to try to get it into sync, and this they plan to do in March sometime. So after asking the doctors if I could start back to work they said if I feel ok yes well I did work last week but it was a struggle to breath, and I am now off work. What I would like to know is could I retire through ill health, and if so what would I be entitled to, the company I work for has no pension plan, so it would have to be state benefits. PS I have under £5000 in the bank.
Low Carb High Fat is the way forward I lost 80 lbs
