I think that judging by the support that is evident on this board, you will have lots of us folks beside you in spirit if not in person. I said recently that I could be in a room full of people and feel alone, I don't feel so lonely now reading all these kind messages.

Jenni, Fab account of your experience!! Me and hubby self employed also, due to go BR on March 6th, 3 children to consider too! Insperational (bad spelling lol) Ive a feeling we'll find out who our friends are too, a few are already showing such support but I know there will be some who'll judge. Many thanks for telling your story.x

Unfortuantly one of the people who we were close friends with (or so we believed) told us the week after we were Br that we were no longer in her league. (and that was the exact words she used) As she had her own business she decided to tell us we should find new friends as we had lost our business. Fortunatly we have seen the funny side of it, and realised that friends like that we dont need! :rotfl:We said that when you are on the way up you should watch who you stamp on as you may meet them on the way down. Besides that misguided person we have been blessed with many true friends who actually dont give a hoot. :T
You will be fine, find the humour where you can and take care of yourself and your family.xxx

OMG...how shallow is that...(.not in their league!!!!.) well they were not real friends then Jenni !!!!

You are better than that & have faced up to your problems.....wonder how secure they are financially!!!

I have friends like that....but can do without them!!

Cant believe that Jenni!!!:eek: You can imagine some awful people thinking it but SAYING it!! I'm sure we'll have a few like that too mind, who wont be quite so keen to 'mingle' with us after BR! Who needs them! x

Well having been such good friends previous to BR I am quite aware of that persons situation, all I think is those in glass houses should'nt throw stones. Always going to be one, was'nt the one I thought but then if my judgement could really be trusted I don't think we would have ended up BR.;)

Know what you mean! I always thought I was a really good judge of character but got really caught out once in the past so I'm quite suspicious of people now! Got my hubby and the kids so i know I'll be fine!

Speaking of which have to get to bed for the manic monday morning rush!! Hate mondays! So much to remember, swimming for one, childminder for another, carzy bus ride! Oh the joy! Nice chatting! x
