travel lodge tv's..............

sorry about the weird question.

but do any of you know if the travel lodge in scunthorpe just off the m181 has got sky sports 2 on the tv's?

im asking this as i am goin up there for work and am staying there on the 14th february and dont want to miss the football.

is there any way to find this out otherwise i will have to ring them.

i went to burton on trent travelodge 3 years ago & they did have sky sports & sky movies but i dont know if this is across the board have a look at their website

I have stayed a few times at Travelodges and they have not had the footie channels, BUT if you sit in the bar with a pint most have big Plasma screens with any channel you can persuade (bribe?) the bar staff.

Sorry, but you will not find the football on Sky in Travelodge rooms.

Has anyone had to deal with their weird new system where the remote is new and doesn't work the TV properly?

It's all to do with them supplying internet access, and it has driven me to distraction since they brought it in, no-one at any of the lodges knows to how to put it right from my experience.

I do have an old remote which somehow found its way into my bag, but don't know if it will work in future.
