Monday - Kitchen and Dining room DONE:D
Tuesday - Living room, hall and stairs! DONE:D

    Woohoo can't believe i have the list done before midday.:j :j :j
Suppose it's because hubby's out helping round the farm so i've peace to get on.
Will get something to eat and see what else needs doing or i might head to bed for an hour, hubby not sleeping well and was up till 3 this morning, problem is he keeps me up too.
    Right food i think.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    5. 2 questions.
HOw do I clean the wallpaper in here. Its normal stuff. Its handmarks from the kids. I don't want to wet it just incase! - used a slice of white bread. It made breadcrumbs but didn't clean it!

And I cooked salmon for dinner. I had the fan on, the back door & window open & a bowl of vinegar by the hob. It still smells down here. How can I get rid of the smell. I HATE airfreshners, they make me sneeze. So I have none. I can smell it now so in the morning it'll hit me something terrible! So left bowl of vinegar in living room & vinegar bottle open in kitchen. I also lit af ew matches last night. Did the trick. Only a very faint smell this morning & it's gone now!

SO have done all tasks apart from ironing. WM has finished so need to hang up the clothes. ALso have some bread soaking to make bread pudding, YUM!

Will iron & do nowt else today!

Nearly food time! I have done lots...honest! Even though it doesn't look like I've done lots!

    Ta Da's:

    Get up
    Help get children to school
    Light fire
Get small child up and nappy change
    Feed small child
Fill dishwasher as much as possible and put on
5 mins sorting out dry clothes
    Put washing load on
Get small child cleaned and changed
Take box of towels upstairs and put away
    10 items off lounge floor
    Bowl of washing up
    Empty dish rack
Take dirty clothes out of lounge
Find something to eat and a coffee
Put dirty washing back into basket
5 mins sorting dry washing out
Take another box of clothes upstairs
(See if can find a paintbrush on my travels for the next 3)
    Walk dog
Put binsack into bin and go around kitchen and throw some things in it
    Empty bottom of dishwasher
Go and find a paintbrush and paint a couple of squares on hallway walls (although if I can't find one upstairs I can't do it as I'm not allowed downstairs! Might have to borrow a child's paintbrush)
    Empty top of dishwasher
    Unload washing machine

    To Do's:

5 mins taking dry washing down
5 mins hanging wet washing up
Put new load of washing on

Things would like to do today if possible:
Dust mantelpiece (my trophy is getting covered!)
Clean out downstairs toilet (in 3's)
    Vacuum hallway
    Get washing in from conservatory.
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible
  • Toots - My list for today is done. Considering the kids are here I finished quite quickly.

Carlsberggal - I've got arthritis in my knee and I'm 36. Hope they get the pain under control.

Went to the DIY shop for some filler and stuff and couln't get the car back on the drive because of the snow and slush. Going to fill some holes and paint them this afternoon - DH has been doing DIY but just leaves the mess for someone else to sort out.

Pigpen (thank you) told me that this is the room we're doing tomorrow in case you're wondering where my psychic abilities have come from. ;) As you can see, I'm still at home and flying away as the agency haven't called me for anything for this afternoon. If anything gets added to her list tonight, I'll try to do it when I get home from dinner at MIL's. Won't be able to get a completed list though until the weekend as the sheets don't get changed til then.

If you want something to distract you LadyL, we could go for a coffee in town if you'd like now I know that I'm not working? Will probably need the caffeine to keep me going anyway after all of my flying today.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

  • aunty crafty you be careful when you go to the dentist - whats happening today - are you getting a crown? I will be with you! And I quite agree with you that theskintfamily's idea of missing CSI is a tad drastic!!!! :rotfl:
Thanks, toots. I'm back safely. Centre of town pavements fine (wish ours were) Only in the dentist chair about five minutes - wax impression and check colour. He intends to give me a plate, but the lab tech doesn't think he can design one that will work.:confused:Meantime I am still trying to hang on to the two very loose teeth.

G&B - 'hope the hospital goes ahead' vibes for LO

    carlsberggal - gentle hugs

Lady-L - hugs. Waiting can be the worst bit.

    Afternoon all

No washing today even though the sun is shining. We had a real blizzard last night. It's all very odd.

I did the living room and hallway yesterday as well as the kitchen and I vacuumed right through downstairs again today so that's Day 2 completed.

Asda shopping has been delivered and all put away.

    Off to catch up.
