Payment protection cover

Options
After reading various threads on here about PPI, looked closely at MBNA credit card statement, this includes a payment protection cover fee of £5. 13p cannot recall ever requesting cover.

Because of illness have not worked for over ten years, so surely its invalid anyway.

Could anyone advise please.

If you are saying you have not worked since having the card or that you did not know you had this insurance then you have a claim for mis selling.
If you want all the information on the account to see how this was added and how much you have paid towards this you can send MBNA an SAR which will cost £10 and you should receive all the information.
There is nothing to stop you writig your mis claimed letter while waiting for this info if you are happy to do so.

What date was your agreement and when was it first applied to your card and were you employed at the time of taking out the card?

Then I would write to them about mis selling and or send an SAR.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is a SAR?

Its where they send you all the information about you and the account you have with them.
