Has anyone used https://www.cheapflightsrus.com as I have had a quote for a flight for my honeymoon and they want me to pay the whole amount over the phone (no option for deposit) and I need to know if they are on the level?

Are they REALLY cheap, or can you replicate their price using www.kayak.com? Also worth checking airline and/or booking websites with Quidco, to see if you can get a cashback deal.

That website appears to be for a travel agents based in Harrow, so their prices probably are beatable online.

As it's a flight, you won't be able to pay 'just a deposit' - deposits tend to be on package holidays.

Ok many thanks for the reply.

I have tried many companies such as travelbag, trailfinder and STA and there is not much availability left for this time for below 1000. also we want to stop in Hong Kong for about a week

Try www.kayak.com for flight prices unless you want to pay travel agents' commission, or at least try and get them to match prices on there.

STA and Trailfinders probably won't be competitive as they have big overheads to pay.

seems like one of those domain names that will end up going bust like the others and they will have taken your money and kept it, leaving no tickets for you. i dont think a random company could compete with the bigger boys.

is it not the same price going direct to cathay pacific?

the agent may only place a deposit on your ticket and keep the rest until they need to hand it over. if they need cash to keep running, they may insist on cash over the phone. If Kosmar can go bust, so can a tin pot online site. be careful.
