HSBC - Internet Banking on Mac using Safari

Am I the only one that's really annoyed that HSBC haven't sorted out their compatibility issues with Macs main browser, Safari? I check my Internet Banking often and think Safari is great, however I always have to have an alternative browser installed for when I want to use the HSBC website.
Please HSBC, fix this problem!!!

This was discussed before I think someone said that it is apple's fault
ah here it is http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=18452225&postcount=80 -
Their banking doesn't work properly on nokia mobiles either. Possibly related to safari http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_Browser_for_S60
You can get as far as entering your ID number and that seems to be it.
The mobilink thing does work properly but is pretty useless compared to the telephone or online services.0 -
I have long time had problems with the site with Opera. Currently (Opera 9.63 Windows XP) it basically works but there are big CSS styling and layout issues. Their business banking site has never worked properly with Opera and you have to mask everything as Firefox to even log in. One of these days they will realise there are better browsers than IE and 'Netscape'... I use Firefox for my HSBC banking but Opera for absolutely everything else..0

Anyone know if Opera Mobile works at all?0

Just to let everyone know, Apple released a fix for this via Software Update two days ago. Update your Mac and you can use HSBC with Safari.

You can get the Firefox web browser for Mac, this should sort your problem out. Just google 'Firefox'.0

I would use Firefox. But using Firefox is nasty and painful on Mac, I find.
