Undo Realwood Solid Floor - to run gas pipe?

Hi,
We have almost finished laying new realwood solid oak floor down and have realised that the gas supply in the front room is not working! The pipe was probably cut when the old back boiler was replaced. The boiler was replaced with a conventional bolier and was moved to a new location by a corgi registered company. I thought that the front gas supply would not be affected as it should have come from the main gas point.
If I need to run a gas pipe now under the floor what are my options? The new floor is secret nailed together so can this be undone for the pipe to be put in? not all the new floor is laid the area around the gas point is open and so is the area around the fireplace.
Is there a way to still run a pipe by a corgi company by running it under the joists a feed it across the landing and one room length?
Thanks!

Hello bauk, if you pop over to the Screwfix site, google Screwfix, and into their Talkforum I'm sure one of their trades will advise.0

you say solid floor then joists.... solid floors generally are solid and joist free i think.
i used to fit heating systems and if a customer particularly wanted their floor left alone we would try and gain access under it through a different room, make a hole, crawl under and fit the pipework from underneath.
anything (within reason) is possible.
if the floor actually is solid then perhaps overhead is an option? (between ceiling and upper floor)0 -
hmmm... Thanks for your reply in the end we have decided not to bother. The house is now plastered and painted so there is no chance of running it in the ceiling and down again.. We will just get an electric fire instead... The house is pretty warm so the fire will only be used occassionally.0
