Scrapping a built in oven

Our new built in oven is arriving tomorrow and I was wondering what would be the best way of disposing of the old one. Does it have scrap value? would you just take it to the local tip. I'm not going to offer it on freecycle as it is not working and the cost of repairing it (several issues) is not cheap

either take it to the tip or request a special uplift from your council refuse department. many charge for this, so taking it to the tip yourself is usually cheaper.

Take it to the tip , its not going to be very heavy.

The only thing I have trouble with is the old washing machines, weigh a ton and always leak water!!

Ovens can be heavy - my current one weighs 47Kg, which really is a two man job given its size.
