time frame for recieveing ppi ?

as the title says whats the time frame for recieving money, the fso found in our favour and we recieved a letter in December saying that we agree to the settlement which we had to sign + return since then we have heard nothing .

Have you been in touch with your adjudicator to check they received the letter of acceptance? Did you send it recorded delivery too?

I had an email from my adjudicator to say that they allow 4 weeks but others may differ.

Usually about 6 weeks to respond. If you have not hear then get in touch with your adjudicator again just to say you have not received money.

Sometimes the lender pays it straight into bank accounts etc so just double check that.

Hope they pay up soon for you and Well done for getting it back in the first place.

I was waiting a good while for our refund to come through with one of ours, and it was agreed with the FOS that I should send them a Letter before action (LBA), the FOS also requested for a copy of the letter/email that was sent to the finance company, so they would have records of this as well.

I did have a template LBA for this issue but don't think I saved this, however, the FOS agreed to give them 14 days to pay out or further action will be taken to recover the monies etc etc, they paid out if I remember within 12 days, may have been 10.

Have a word with the FOS about this and see what they suggest.
