No!!!! Have you not seen Back to The Future? :eek:Its a transducer transponder for the doctors tardis, hes been looking for 1 for agesSince when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -
Wish it was a flux capacitor! No tiny holes like a microphone and yes it's got a phono jack. Haven't had time yet today to phone VM, will do so shortly and update you all. Glad that it wasn't just me being silly anyway!

I think it's something that plugs into one of the older boxes (IIRC some of them had a connection for an external IR receiver of some kind).0

i honestly dont know what it could be0 -
Thanks everybody. Well I've just spoken to a nice VM bloke called Mike who seemed a bit baffled as to why they'd sent me an infrared dongle for the Virgin freeview box that I don't own (apparently it means you can hide the box) instead of a wireless router. Router now hopefully on its way. Will update the thread if anything else peculiar arrives instead.
If anybody could use it, PM me a UK address and it's yours.
Thanks for your interest,
