We used the blackboard paint to paint chalk squares at school...

I can't find it anywhere princess, and dh says I am imagining buying it now.. kinda wondering myself asI've looked all my normal places.

Jenni, the homemade versions are sooo simple to do and you can taylor them for your own child. When I was practicing counting with ds, I made some out of dinosaur wrapping paper. You can make them for shapes, colours, numbers, animals, anything really.
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx
  • Well it's not in the drawer where a lot of the other chargers/kitchen rubbish is kept so presuming it might be under stairs. I remember charging it when we first got it but it hasn't needed charging again since so not sure if I put it back in box & dumped it under stairs with rest of stuff we need to keep but have no room for LOL

We just bought a little tin of bright pink -think it was about a fiver and one of those sample sized pots to do a boarder - about a quid from B%Q - Had loads off different colours from silver to bright flourescent green - every colour that you would imagine really
I have to agree with your DH wouldnt have done it in black !

Or is it the whole "drawng on walls" that he said no to -lol

He did them a gorgeous pink room, even the ceiling is pink - the TV, lamp, blind EVERYTHING & he wants it kept like that so won't have any 'chalkboard' type thing up incase it encourages writing in other places ITMS xx

If my 3 (and a half - I always have to put the half in, he insists!!) year old can write his name and put his own shoes on etc, why oh why oh why can't my OH who is 39 (and a half!! birthday day after DS!:rotfl:) cannot, will not, has not, learnt how to pick his dirty socks & pants off the floor and put them in the washing basket!!

Aww thats awful nicky - bet he was devastated!

He really was, for a while, til he realised he could eat as much food as he liked, get taken to the fun fair on the seafront and then eat some more lol, I think I was more gutted (and flippen annoyed at the mothers) than he was in the end :o
That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free ;)
  • jenniwren I tell my DH I am not his Mother so if he wants someone to do it for him ask Mummy - or shall I call Mummy for you???? Works everytime LOL

Incidently, my DS was in the first ever year of SAT's and being such a baby in the school year I was called into school and told not to expect to much and not to worry etc etc, He ended up being 3rd in the whole year!!! :rotfl::rotfl:
