Hello & and Happy Thingy-wotist for those of you bothering to celebrate! :rolleyes:

I didn't even get a card till 3.30pm - and that was only cos he was popping out to the Bakers for some Sarnies!!

He's just nipped out again for steak & Vodka (how well he knows me) so I think he's feeling a bit guilty!! I may be forced to milk the situation!!

You just helped my OH prove a point RCB! Shopped mid afternoon in Sainsburys and I wondered why they hadn't reduced the cards and stuff yet, but OH said no way, there are still loads of men about! They will only just be getting round to it!

Evening all.
Quiet in here for the last two hours. Is everyone loved up?

Got back from work tonight 10pm, to find a card and a bottle of disaronno, fav drink of the moment. Awww.
May have to crack it open in a bit.

Worked 2 long days (7am-9pm) and now on annual leave, woohoo!
Had the best shift ever today with the least staff, really bad staffing levels atm, but really worked as a team, and not as stressful as usual, so good day. Even the patients were saying that I seem to be there all the time.:rolleyes:

Off to California tomorrow for a week.:j
California, Norfolk that is, not USA! I wish.:rotfl:
Back to Norfolk to see MIL who is in hospital, not well at all, but will get to see bessie mate, and kids will see there mates they left when we moved, so looking forward to it.
Tomorrow night will be in the chalet, on a cold easterly beach, but glass of wine in hand, trying to find a wifi hotspot to connect i-pod to.:D

Well up until Xmas, I didn't think I liked it, but hubby got me a bottle and I've found out I do like it.
Hence this is now my 3rd bottle:eek:

It's an almond/nutty tasting liqueur, and it's lovely on ice.
