Toni, Larzy has a good point about redundancy pay and if he is going to hear in a few weeks many of the jobs he's looking at could still be available

well I went and had my hair "trimmed" - turned out it was a flat rate for a non-layered haircut, so I decided to get 2 inches cut off instead of just a trim - talk about trying to get the most for my money :rotfl:
bargain of the day? Poundland had a PERFECT clock that I nearly bought a slightly larger version from Asda for £10 and I got mine for £1. I'm so chuffed And also managed to find some "Lemon Sherbert" smelling candles, which I love, and are green tinted, so will go in my new lounge (beige and mint green)
also got some gorgeous looking flaked chocolate truffles for dessert tonight.. mmmm!
Toni, it's a tough market out there but if he can get a better paid job now, it might be worth the leap. It's a tough decision I know, I'm going through the same thing..

did u enter all sainsburys vouchers into 1 draw or not?
and r they acrried over to next draw or not? xxxx
stupidly ia sked for them in 1's but she gave me a five voucher and 4 1's xx:mad: :mad: xx so ill have to waste the five in 1 draw xxx

Good afternoon everyone - no postie here yet either - last week he was 10am? No idea where he is today - maybe he is loaded down with all the extra post for valentines day!!!!

cheeky there is a draw every 5 mins there is a countdowntill next draw thing, they inform u within 24hrs of win, i enetered 5 into this draw and will save others and colelct loads more then saturate a few draws with my entries itms xx
i sp at sainsburys and buy petrol there so its not costing me anything to enter xxx
ill also bribe my mam and bro to give me their vouchers for ev's school xxxlol xx

Hi all, and how are we this sunny Saturday.

Been out this morning (and so not on here) to help sort out an unused church for us to move into while ours is being rebuilt. Gonna be in there for a year... hope they get the loo working!!!

Am looking forward to the rugby later - don't think we have a chance against Wales but it should be a good game.

Eating crackers, cheese and beetroot for lunch... getting pizza in later yum!

he has been with firm 3 years so will get a few grand but nothing worthwhile xx
He has friends doing simlar roles and they r scouting around for him as we speak so hoepfully it shouldn't be dire straits xxx

Im more positive than him, as when he made the move to move back from workig/living in holland he thought the same andfound a job within 3weeks, so even with recession i firmly believe that the jobs he has spotted so far ( about 30 odd in south east) he sould be able to get a decent stab at one of them with his skills xx
