Hi there
My hubby has just been awarded HRC and HRM, and is looking at getting a car with the mobility part. Does anyone know what we have to do ?? He has the letter he got from the DWP, is this classed as the award letter that he has to give in?
Thanks for any help

take your award letter which you have got and have a look at some dealers and choose a car they will go through application form with you quite an easy process
good luck

We have recently obtained our new car through the scheme. We used a Toyota dealer and found the whole process very easy. The staff at the Toyota dealership were marvellous. We found them by using the Motability website and once you have decided which make of car you can find your nearest dealership by entering your postcode.
The most stressful part was getting the form completed and stamped at our local Jobcentreplus - this has to be done before the process can be finalised.
We opted for a Yaris, relatively easy to get in and out but not suitable for a wheelchair. Once I reach that stage we shall need to rethink the car.
Hope this is helpful and good luck!
