Question about further education

Hi

I'm not sure that this is in the right place but I'll ask anyway.
I'm thinking about going back to uni (I'm 47 by the way) but OH went BR in the summer and because of circumstances to do with this means that chances are I'll be pushed into BR in the next few months. My question is will this affect me getting a student loan to pay for the course fees. Any comments from any mature students would be most helpful

Thanks
