Well it didn't have my details on there when I started applying, so asked me to input course details - my actual course wasn't in there (it said I am doing a BEng when I am doing a BSc) so I just left it as that.
Not sure how much tuition fees for me this year as I am on placement so its not the norm, will have to find out tomorrow0 -
I'm a continuing student (2nd year), so should I theoretically get exactly the same entitlement as last year since we're submitting 07/08 financial information - exactly the same information I submitted last year.
Is this still true if my parents earned more in 08/09? I notice there's a clause if they earned less but what if it was more? If so this will be great, my parents income went slightly up which might push me just above my uni's bursary scheme which leaves me over £1000 worse off.0 -
How much less do you have to earn before you are re-assessed? Is it still 15%? I heard someone mention this was changing to 5% (or is that just rubbish?)
My dad probably won't get a bonus from work this year (company haven't done too well) and what with decreasing interest rates on savings.0 -
It is still 15% in order to be reassessed, at least the last time I was updated on it. There were talks on making it 5%, don't think anything came of it though, unless they've again updated bits of the regs and not told us straight away.0

My LA did use the documents we provided last year as my application was assessed this morning (very speedy service!)
My grant has increased by £21 and the maintenance loan by £99.0 -
Ok applied. On placement so not expecting full amount. Went to university information desk and they told me its £654 for tuition for me, so thats how much I've asked for. Non income assessed I get £2000 and something loan so I am happy about that!0

That's pretty decent Brucey. Being at an LEA myself, I have literally just taken the call from the SLC saying that we can go in and start assessing again. We've been locked out all morning, so your LEA must have been one of the ones for testing.0
